Merritt Truax Indoor Center
Oregon State University's newest athletic facility is the shining $12 million Merritt Truax Indoor Center. The football team makes large usage of the facility, but other sports also use the brick building for training and conditioning. The facility is also home to pregame functions during the football season.
The 85,000-square foot facility includes a regular size Fieldturf surface football field.
The building is named after Merritt Truax, a 1934 OSU graduate who founded one of the nation's leading commercial and retail gasoline outlets.
