Annual Winter Skills Clinics

Oregon State Softball's Annual All-Skills Winter Clinic
When: Saturday, January 14th
Ages: 2 Separate Sessions:
  1.) 9am -12pm Junior Beavs (Grades 2-7)

Where: Truax Indoor Facility on OSU Campus       
Cost:  $80 per camper

Oregon State Softball's Annual Pitcher Winter Clinic
Please know that these are two separate clinics.     
When: Sunday, January 15th (these clinics happen at the same time) 9am-12pm

Oregon State Softball's Annual All-Skills Winter Clinic
Please come and join the 2012 Oregon State Softball Team as they host their annual softball clinic!
 
Instructors: Head Coach  Kirk Walker, Assistant Coach Geoff Hirai, Assistant Coach Laura Berg and the entire 2012 Oregon State Softball Team.

What you will need to bring and other general information:

*Campers will need to bring their own glove, softball shoes, bat, batting gloves and helmet.      
*Campers will be instructed in hitting, bunting, base running, basic defense and position play.     
*Each of these areas will be broken down in drills taught by Oregon State Softball players and   coaches.     
*Campers will be broken up into groups according to their grade in school and skill level.       

Oregon State Softball's Annual Pitcher and Catcher Winter Clinics

Instructors: Head Coach Kirk Walker, Assistant Coach Geoff Hirai, Assistant Coach Laura Berg, and Pitchers and Catchers from the Oregon State Softball Team.

8am Check-in for Both Pitcher and Catchers       
9am Break into pitchers and catchers        
12pm Question and answers with the Beavs       
          

What you will need to bring and other general information: 

PITCHING CLINIC:  Pitchers will need to bring their own catcher.  This catcher does sign up for the clinic and will not need to pay. Mom, Dad, or Coach  can be the catcher for the pitchers.  It does not need to be their full time catcher. Pitchers will have the opportunity to work with Head Coach Kirk Walker on the break down of pitching mechanics.  They will also have a chance to work with former and current Beaver Pitchers.   
          
CATCHING CLINIC:  Catchers will need to bring their own catching gear and glove.  These catchers will not be able to catch a pitcher  who is in the pitching clinic. Catchers will have the opportunity to work with Assistant Coach Geoff Hirai on the break down of catching mechanics. Blocking, framing and the mental aspect of the game will get broken down.  Campers will also have the oppourtunity to work with former and current  Beavers.

All cancellations will be charged a $25 administrative fee. If you cancel within 10 days of the start of camp, the entire amount less the $25 administrative fee will be given in the form of a credit to be used towards a later camp. Once camp begins, refunds will be given for medical reasons only.
