The Oregon State University Softball Complex opened in April of 2001. The $1.5 million facility features 750 bleacher backed seats, a concession and restroom facility, as well as one of the top playing surfaces in the nation. The fan-friendly stadium also has outfield seating on the grass burm surrounding the field.
Merritt Truax Indoor Center is Oregon State University's newest athletic facility. The football team makes large usage of the facility, but other sports also use the brick building for training and conditioning. The facility is also home to pregame functions during the football season.
The 85,000-square foot $12 million facility includes a regular size Fieldturf surface football field.
The building is named after Merritt Truax, a 1934 OSU graduate who founded one of the nation's leading commercial and retail gasoline outlets.
